Delete your account & data
Last updated: 10 June 2026
You can delete your Walls account and the personal data associated with it — directly in the app, or by emailing walls bln GmbH (the app's operator). This page explains both methods, what gets deleted, and how long it takes. It applies to the Walls app on both iOS and Android.
Delete in the app
The quickest way — your account is removed straight away:
- Open Walls and make sure you're signed in.
- Open your profile and tap the settings icon.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
- Re-confirm your sign-in (Google or your password) when prompted.
Or request deletion by email
Prefer not to use the app? Email us from the address on your account:
Email hello@walls.link- Send to hello@walls.link with the subject "Delete my account".
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in, so we can verify the request.
- No need to explain why — a one-line request is enough.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials (Firebase Authentication record).
- Your profile, including your name, email address, and user ID.
- Your favorites and app preferences.
- Content and images you uploaded are deleted or anonymized so they're no longer linked to you.
How long it takes
We delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days of verifying your request, and we'll email you to confirm once it's done.
What we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required to, or to prevent fraud and abuse. Anonymized or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may also be retained. Crash and analytics records expire on their own under our providers' standard retention periods.
